Sister Queens! |
I had the opportunity to go to the Miss Diamond Lakes and Miss South Central pageant this past Saturday night. The competition was amazing and there were so many contestants. It was great to watch some of my friends compete and to meet some of the new title holders that are going to Miss Arkansas this summer. I was so excited to see some of the girls I competed with last summer! It was great to catch up with a lot of them and see how their year is going. Miss South Central was held at 2:00 and Miss Diamond Lakes started at 7:00. Between pageants I got to go eat with my family and board of directors for the Miss Greater Camden pageant. I can't believe that in 25 days I will be passing on the crown. It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since I was crowned Miss Greater Camden. A big congratulations to Houston McCullough that won Miss South Central's Outstanding teen. She's one of my former dance students and still takes dance at my sister's dance studio in Camden. It's so great to see a familiar face wearing a crown and getting ready to compete in the state pageant this summer! My princess, Elle Ables, also got to come to both pageants with me throughout the day and she also went on stage with me to be introduced after intermission. I love it when my princess gets to come with me to different appearances! It's so special to me that my sweet little niece is my princess! Overall, I had so much fun with family and friends this weekend at Miss Diamond Lakes and South Central.
